Flagstaff Runner’s Camp
Flagstaff Runner’s Camp is designed to offer high school runners (rising 8th graders and above, including adults) the opportunity to experience the greatest opportunity to train in the greatest environment in the United States.
Flagstaff Runner’s Camp will focus, not only the opportunity to train in a fabulous environment, but will also on the individual runner and their goals and aspirations. Hence the name, “Flagstaff Runner’s Camp.” The focus will be on the runner and dictated to their needs.
Dates:
- July 11 - 14
- July 18 - 21
- July 25 - 28
- August 1 - 4
- August 8 - 11
Cost:
- $200.00 / Includes the entire five week session*
- $50.00 / week
- $15.00 / day
* Payment may be made in installments, however, a downpayment of $100.00 is required for the entire five week session.
- Times: 8:30 AM - 11:30 PM
Campers would be responsible for meeting at the various locations where Camp/Runs would be held each day. Those locations would, but would not be limited to be:
- Campbell Mesa trailhead
- Buffalo Park
- Ft. Tuthill
- The “Y” at Elden Lookout and Schultz Pass roads
- Northland Preparatory Academy
- Thorpe Park
Camp Features:
- Supervised runs through the most spectacular trails in the United States;
- Guest Speakers that include the “elite-of-the-elite” of the Flagstaff running community;
- Sessions to include:
- Running Drills;
- Core Strengthening;
- Goal Setting;
- Nutrition

- 2005-2006 -- Arizona Cross Country Coach of the Year
- 1998 -- Inducted into the South Jersey Track Coaches Hall of Fame
- USATF Level II Certification
